The Spilled Cup-September

Hi!

As we transition into the fall, it is the perfect time to share some updates!

My inbox has been flooded with questions about the closing of the shop. We are sad to see LFG go, but it was incredible what it did in the community. Seeing it bring new friends together, families closer, and give life back into a small hobby shop was such a highlight to me. I came in to make a difference, and the wonderful customers prove we did.

Thank you so much for the encouragement on my journey as I take on a life tailored to creativity. I am blessed to be at Phases, and I look forward to sharing all the skills I’m learning. From tattoos, tarot, waxing, and professional makeup to permanent jewelry, we offer something for everyone.

October is bringing in fun experiences like reading Tarot at several events throughout the month. I haven’t advertised it much. I read privately at the studio, and read for larger events as entertainment. It is a special thing to be able to provide a focused view of the cards and how reading works. Phases has given me the perfect little spot to practice tattooing and to grow in my craft.

The future is bright in the comic industry, and there are several local shops who can help suppliment your comic book cravings!

You can rest assured I’m still reading and keeping up with the latest issues and my favorite creators.

We all know I love Luana Vecchio. Did you know that Doll Parts is getting another printing? I reviewed it last year, and it will be a comic I tell people about forever! Click to read it!

My new adventures are opening up doors for me to write more about comics, traveling, and motherhood. I am grateful for the opportunities becoming available to me, and for how many people show up for me in my life to make them happen.

One of those is spending more time traveling with the kids. We started homeschooling again last year simply because we love the freedom to do it from anywhere. Now we find ourselves picking up at the drop of a hat to go to a neighboring town or state to explore their library or study historical monuments. We have always tried to explore the educational resources around us to make our homeschool experience interesting. Guin has asked me to tour some homeschool groups in the upcoming months, and we are excited to make lots of new friends. I am always curious to hear from other homeschool families about the programs you prefer and the ones you have used.

This next month is all about slowing down for the approaching winter. Everyone is squeezing the last bit of warmth. I appreciate the way summer gave us so many beautiful creations. If you need me, you can book with me through the salon or shoot me a message!

Thank you for following along.
